About Artist
Biography Andrea Schiavetta, abstract-expressive painter, was born on March 7, 1989, in Cremona, Italy. From an early age, I showed an inclination towards artistic expression and creativity.
After completing his high school education in 2008, where I earned a scientific and technological diploma, Andrea embarked on a career in a well-known steel factory located in his hometown of Cremona.
For several years, Andrea held the position of head of production and personnel at the steel mill, where he demonstrated his exceptional organizational skills and dedication. Despite his successful position and a comfortable salary, he felt an undeniable urge for change and realized that he did not want to continue his career in the steel industry. In 2015, he made abold decision to pursue a new path in life and set off for Australia.
Upon arriving in Australia, Andrea quickly adapted to the vibrant Australian lifestyle, embracing new challenges and adventures. Immersed himself in Australian culture and society and landscape.
He also seized the opportunity to explore Southeast Asia, traveling to Thailand, Malaysia, the Philippines, Indonesia, Singapore, and Vietnam.
The exposure to diverse cultures, traditions, and artistic influences during his travels profoundly impacted Andrea's perspective on life. He developed an open mind and a deep appreciation for the world of art and culture.
These experiences sparked a renewed passion for discovery within him, leading him to explore his own artistic talent.
Artistic Expression
It was during his time in Australia that Andrea’s passion for painting truly began to flourish discovering his artistic voice within the realm of modern abstract art, embracing vibrant colors, dynamic forms, and expressive shapes to convey deep, personal emotions. His style, which he describes as abstract-expressive, is rooted in the exploration of human feelings and spirituality.
As an entirely self-taught artist, Andrea honed his technique through continuous experimentation, developing a distinctive approach to painting that merges acrylic and oil paints.
This combination adds both texture and depth to his works, while his use of scratching techniques brings a sense of movement and energy to each piece.
Andrea's work is a reflection of his insatiable curiosity and desire to explore the depths of human emotion. His paintings are a window into his soul, inviting viewers to connect with the universal language of art.
